Alvanley Parish Council First Resident Surgery
Published: September 16, 2026
Alvanley Parish Council would like to thank all residents who attended our first Councillors’ Surgery at The White Lion on Monday 14th September 2026.
We were delighted to welcome nine residents and would like to express our appreciation for the constructive, informative and positive discussions that took place throughout the evening.
The feedback received has provided the Parish Council with a valuable insight into the issues and opportunities that matter most to our community. A number of topics were discussed, including road safety, speeding, the Commonside Tip, environmental improvements, heritage projects, planning matters and village facilities. Several actions have been identified and will now be taken forward on behalf of residents with fellow Parish Councillors, Cheshire West and Chester Council (CWaC), and other relevant organisations where appropriate.
The Parish Council is committed to maintaining open communication with residents and ensuring that local concerns are heard and acted upon wherever possible. Events such as these provide an excellent opportunity for residents to engage directly with their elected representatives in an informal and welcoming setting.
Following the success of this first surgery, the Parish Council intends to hold regular Councillors’ Surgeries throughout the year. Dates and venues for future sessions will be announced shortly via the Parish Council website and other communication channels.
We look forward to meeting with more residents at future events and would once again like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to a very successful evening.
