Annual Litter Pick

The Parish Council is delighted to share the success of this year’s Annual Alvanley Parish Council Litter Pick which took place on Sunday 12th April. A community effort that once again showed the best of our village spirit. With the support of a dedicated team of volunteers, residents came together to help keep our lanes, footpaths, and green spaces looking their best.

This year’s event was organised and led by Councillor Brenda Crowe, who coordinated equipment, routes, and refreshments, ensuring the day ran smoothly from start to finish.

A heartfelt thank you go to the many volunteers who gave up their time to take part. Your efforts resulted in a significant amount of litter being collected, improving the environment for everyone who lives in or visits Alvanley. It was encouraging to see familiar faces returning as well as new volunteers joining in. A thank you also goes to the White Lion for providing refreshments.
